"We recently bought a Samsung fridge freezer with built-in chilled water and ice dispenser. It has a water filter cartridge called a Magic Water Filter EF-9603 which must be changed every 6 months. When the warning light came on we set about purchasing a new filter - what a job! The electrical shop didn't have it, we tried everywhere - even Ebay. Eventually after being quoted nearly £70 by a mail order company, we found an online filter company selling a compatible replacement for about £25.00. I was concerned that it might be some inferior copy (apparently you can't just use any old filter, they're sensitive beasts these fridge freezers) so I rang the free phone number to check them out. I was impressed by their service and technical knowledge and ordered one on the spot (I could have ordered through their web site, but maybe next time). It came within a couple of days with easy instructions and fitted like a dream. After purging the first few litres it ran clean and clear. We're now back to beautiful ice cold chlorine free water. OK, this may sound like a blatant commercial plug but it's well deserved. I must say the G&T tastes even better now in the light of how much money we saved.
